Selecting soft gel tips for professional extensions

Soft gel tips offer a pre-shaped option for extension services. This collection includes tip boxes, individual-size refills and supporting products or kits from brands such as Aprés, Entity and Gelish. Start with the system you use, then compare its available shapes, lengths and fitting options. Check the product listing to confirm exactly what is supplied.

Choose fit before length and shape

A tip should match the client's nail-bed shape as well as the requested finished style. Within Aprés Gel-X, Natural tips have a flatter surface and less pronounced C curve, while Sculpted tips have a higher apex and deeper C curve. These are specific fit options, not interchangeable size labels. Compare sidewall fit and the manufacturer's sizing guidance before committing to almond, coffin, round or stiletto in your preferred length.

Keep the adhesive and curing system compatible

Use the preparation products, tip adhesive or extension gel and curing equipment specified for the chosen brand and formula. A soft gel tip is not automatically compatible with every product labelled nail glue or builder gel. For Aprés services, browse Extend Gel and confirm the selected formula's directions. Read whether a light is intended for positioning or flash curing and what the manufacturer requires for the complete cure.

Boxes, refills and kits serve different needs

A multi-size box helps you fit a range of clients; a refill replenishes a specific shape, length, style and size. Match all of those details when shopping Aprés Gel-X tip refills, including the product generation where stated. Compare Aprés Gel-X nail tips for broader tip options. If you need supplies together, review Aprés Gel-X kits and the individual kit contents rather than assuming every kit includes the same items.

Plan finishing, maintenance and removal

Follow the tip system's preparation and finishing instructions, including any surface treatment required before adhesion or colour application. Removal depends on the exact tip, adhesive and coating combination. Follow the manufacturer's stated removal method and timing; do not apply a single soak-off time across all systems. For traditional tips, clear or natural styles and other extension choices, use the broader nail tips collection.
