La KP-55 est équipée d'un moteur sans noyau réglé dynamiquement avec 2 roulements de précision rectifiés à grande vitesse qui lui permettent de fonctionner à très haute vitesse, 30 000 tr/min, avec pratiquement aucune vibration ! Elle dispose d'un cordon anti-traction moulé et est compatible avec les boîtiers de commande MANIPro Passport et KP-5000.
